I am an advocate of love (all kinds and lots of it), life, self worth, growth, good food, tiny humans, social justice, lgbt rights, art history, disability awareness, and multiculturalism.

I am so passionate about becoming an occupational therapist. After graduating college, I have continued to gain experience in numerous OT-related fields. I currently work as a rehab aide at a therapy clinic, play group therapy instructor, and special needs 1:1 caregiver for a child with autism. I learn so much from every individual I work with every day. Everything in my life so far empowers me and has influenced me to become an OT.

I hope that I will be able to share my story and inspire future OT students to pursue their dreams. Follow me on my journey to get into graduate school as a second time applicant and ultimately my journey as an OT.

  1. IA with your enthusiasms you will be one of the greatest OT, anyone can. Keep your dream and passion alive always, and do not let life’s obstacles break you down. IA you will make it this time, and always remember why you chose this profession, and never loose that from sight. That by itself will make you a successful therapist.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words and support. It is truly people like you that inspire me to continue pursuing my passion for therapy and for people.

  2. After almost 30 years in the profession, I still go to work with a smile on my face. Good luck with your studies and thank you for becoming a follower of Group by Group!
